Knights fall to Barons, Dukes and Statesmen on the court

Buckingham County High School’s varsity boys basketball team capped off a busy week last week with a narrow 60-56 home loss to Bluestone High School on Friday.
The Knights were competitive in all four of their games, but each of them resulted in losses.
On Thursday, they fell 72-70 to visiting Randolph-Henry High School, which is tied for first-place in the district.
Buckingham fell 68-60 to host Bluestone on Jan. 31. Freshman Gerry Toney recorded a career-high 14 points and 18 rebounds.
The Knights also fell 58-49 to host Cumberland County High School on Jan. 30.
Buckingham (5-12) visited Randolph-Henry on Monday and hosts Prince Edward County High School on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
