Members of the Cumberland County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing Monday regarding a potential event venue in the county.

According to a public notice for the upcoming hearing, which will take place at 6:30 p.m. at the Cumberland County Community Center, applicants seek a conditional use permit for an event facility, “The Venue at Orchard View Farm.”

The venue would be located on property at 136 Baber Road, located in the county’s Election District 2 off of Route 45.

The total parcel size, according to the notice, is approximately 102 acres, but the permit would require 3.834 acres of that parcel.

The parcel is zoned as Agricultural-2 and is not located in a designated growth area in the county, according to the notice and the county’s Comprehensive Growth Plan.
