BLACK HISTORY PROGRAM, 3 p.m., at Union Branch Baptist Church in Arvonia. Will also be celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Additionally, we will be highlighting local notable African Americans who have made and continue to make great contributions to our community. All are welcome.

HISTORICAL SOCIETY TO MEET, 7 p.m. of the Farmville-Prince Edward chapter at the Train Station. Everyone bring an old item from Farmville are to show and tell about.
