Chuck Fairchild

On Dec. 15, 2017, Chuck Fairchild, 65, of New Canton, went home to be with the Lord. After fighting the “good fight” against cancer, he is now at peace.
Survived by his loving wife of more than 39 years, Nancy; two daughters, Cecelia Fairchild of Manchester, New Hampshire and Erin Fairchild-Whitehouse and son-in-law, Shaun Whitehouse of Columbiana, Ohio; his mother, Cecelia M. Fairchild of New Canton; three brothers Gary and wife, Lori of Abington, Maryland, Bryan and wife, Patricia of New Canton and Keith of Columbia, South Carolina; sister, Pamela Miller and brother-in-law, David of Leesburg, Florida. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
As owner/manager of A Plus Family Bowl in Youngstown, Ohio, he and Nancy were able to mentor and positively impact the sport of bowling in Youngstown.
A memorial service was held on Dec. 18th at the Welcome Wesleyan Church in New Canton, Virginia. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society “In memory of Clinton Fairchild, Jr.”
