The Dillwyn Christmas Parade will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. The theme is “A Hometown Christmas.” Everyone is invited to stop by the Dillwyn Town Hall after the parade to visit with Santa.

For all those with school-aged children, here’s a reminder: Friday is an early dismissal day, with the school day ending at 12:30 p.m., for the public schools for the start of winter break. All the students will be glad to have some time to relax and enjoy the holidays.

Come enjoy a Christmas musical Sunday at 6 p.m. at Concord Baptist Church. The choir will bring a host of Christmas carols to continue the celebration of the Christmas season and the birth of Jesus Christ. A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall. The church is located at the intersection of Francisco and Deer Run roads at Sheppards.

Everyone is invited to the Christmas Cantata, “Love Came Down,” by the Maysville Choir at Maysville Presbyterian Church at 10 a.m. Sunday. The church is located in the Courthouse Village.

Seems Santa will swing by Pino’s Pizza and hang out with some of the Buckingham County folks Saturday from noon-3 p.m. Pino’s has been very good to Santa, the schools and businesses of Buckingham County. So come out and visit with Santa and support Joe at Pino’s Pizza in Dillwyn. It’s a nice treat for your children and grown-ups alike.

Members of Buckingham Build invites you to a home dedication for their newest homeowner family. Come and share the joy with Chris and Leigh Clarke and their family to celebrate all of their hard work and dedication as they prepare to move into their new home. Refreshments will be served and there will be a tour of their beautiful home. The dedication will take place Saturday at 2 p.m. at 5490 Bell Road, Dillwyn.
