The Cumberland County Community Food Bank partnering with The Central Virginia Food Bank, A FeedMore Program of Richmond will be distributing food to Cumberland County residents including Cartersville residents on Monday, Nov. 20 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. or until all food is gone at the old Cumberland County Elementary School Cafeteria next door to the gym 1874 Anderson Highway. You must have preregistered to get food or you must see the director Jerry Seal. All food recipients please bring bags. Oak Hill Mennonite Church of Cumberland located on 93 Oak Hill Road in Cumberland, will be hosting their annual Thanksgiving supper, Sunday evening Nov. 19 beginning at 5:30 p.m. Following will be special music featuring “The Oak Hill Quartet” back by popular demand.
