The week of Oct. 9-13 was Fire Prevention Week. Fuqua School thought of no better way to recognize the importance of this message than by having Farmville’s own Company 1 visit the Lower School. Firefighters arrived in style in their fire truck. Fire Chief Dean Farmer, pictured, spoke to the students about the many ways they can prevent fires and what to do in case a fire breaks out in their home or school. Following Chief Farmer’s message, the students explored the fire truck as well as the equipment used to help put out fires.
