The Cumberland County High School varsity girls volleyball team finished the 2017 season with an 8-11 record. The Lady Dukes held the No. 3 seed in the Region 1B tournament and defeated visiting No. 6 William Campbell High School 3-1 in the quarterfinals before falling 3-0 to host No. 2 Rappahannock County High School in the semifinals.
