Annual fall festivals and trunk-or-treat

Cedar Baptist Church located at 2932 Bell Road, in Dillwyn, will be hosting “Trunk or Treat,” on Tuesday Oct. 31 from 6-8 p.m. All are welcome.

Victory Baptist Church located 157 Dove Lane Spout Springs will be hosting their first annual fall festival “Trunk or Treat” on Saturday from 4-8 p.m. All children and children at heart are invited to attend.

Buckingham Baptist Church located 24234 N. James Madison Highway will have “Trunk or Treat” on Tuesday from 5-7 p.m.
Also Buckingham Baptist Church will be hosting a “Brunswick Stew at the church with music on Saturday, Nov. 11. Stew will be ready for pick up at 2 p.m. To pre-order contact Betty Toney at

The Buckingham County Christian Fellowship Association will be hosting their Annual Thanksgiving Banquet on Saturday, Nov 4 at 1 p.m. at the VFW Hall located on U.S. Route 60 at 14405 W. James Anderson Highway in Buckingham. All members and their guest are cordially invited to attend and ask to bring a covered dish with the meats and drinks furnished by the association. Arvon Baptist Church located 28350 N. James Madison Highway in New Canton will be hosting “Trunk or Treat” Saturday from 5:30-7 p.m. All children are welcome to attend.
Spreading God’s Gifts Inc., a non-profit organization of Buckingham who helps people in surrounding counties in their hour of need, will be hosting a benefit fish fry dinner and concert on Saturday evening Nov. 4 at the VFW Hall located on U.S. Route 60 at 14405 W. James Anderson Highway in Buckingham. Dinner will be served from 5-6 p.m. to include homemade spaghetti, bread, salad, beverages and dessert all for a donation also there will be door prizes.
