Police in Farmville are seeking tips regarding an armed robbery reported at BB&T on South Main Street at 10:44 p.m. on Sept. 11.

According to police, “the victim reported that while attempting to make a night deposit at BB&T bank, an unknown male subject approached on foot, displayed a handgun and took the deposit. The suspect, described as wearing blue jeans and a dark hooded sweatshirt, fled on foot in the direction of Andrews Drive. The victim was not injured during the incident.”
