Special Touch owners go the extra mile

Jonathan and Tracey Fitzgerald, of Dillwyn, who own Special Touch Designs Flowers and Gifts at Sprouse’s Corner in Buckingham, recently participated with The Woodland and Teleflora in delivering 85 smiley-face mugs containing flowers to the facility. According to Karen M. Kitchen, who serves as director of professional services at The Woodland, “the flowers were placed in each dining area for the residents to enjoy while they enjoyed eating. The Woodland has been very blessed to have been chosen to accept this gracious gesture two years in a row.” It’s our hope that the faces of residents at The Woodland will match those of the mugs. We commend the business for its outreach efforts and spreading happiness to seniors. Pictured are, from left, Kitchen, J.C.
