Taking advantage of new opportunities

Because of the open-mindedness of officials at the High Bridge Trail State Park and their willingness to employ new concepts, several families from the Heart of Virginia were among the first to camp out overnight on High Bridge recently. “It’s an opportunity to do something a little bit different,” Park Manager Daniel Jordan said of the event, which saw many families populate the bridge for one night. We commend the park and Jordan’s leadership for implementing new ideas and thinking outside the box in an effort to bring more people together.
