There’s no doubt the fireworks show along with the music, food and other activities organized by the Town of Farmville celebrating Independence Day last Monday united the Heart of Virginia, drawing hundreds of people from Southside Virginia to the town’s airport. We commend the town, volunteers, vendors, bands and others involved in hosting the event for doing such an amazing job in bringing our community together to celebrate our independence.
