A trial in Prince Edward County General District Court for a 23-year-old Pamplin man charged in the shooting death of a 35-year-old Pamplin man has been continued to Oct. 16 at 9 a.m.
During a Tuesday hearing, Prince Edward County Commonwealth’s Attorney Megan Clark said she and Simon Carl Lark’s defense attorney reached an agreement to continue the trial due to co-defendant Marion Lamon Timothy Redfearn awaiting extradition in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Lark was charged May 11 with first-degree murder and use of a firearm.
“My officers responded, and they found the victim … (Donnell M. Green), 35 years old, of Pamplin, had been shot,” Prince Edward County Sheriff Wesley Reed said in a previous interview.
The release cited that six other people have been arrested in addition to Redfearn.
According to the release, the investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information should call Investigator Sarah Coen at (434) 392-8101.
