Elizabeth McElfresh, of Prince Edward County Middle School, competed in the recent Virginia Commonwealth Games 5K held at Liberty University and won her age group of girls 12-year-old and younger. She finished with a time of 25 minutes, nine seconds. Overall, she was the eighth female finisher and 54th overall in a field of 152.
