PCA students excel at convention

Students from Prospect Christian Academy (PCA) attended the annual Accelerated Christian Education Regional Student Convention held at Appalachian Bible College in Beckley, West Virginia recently.
According to a press release, students competed in a variety of events. “Laura Carr won first place in music-woodwind solo,” officials said. “Coby Dudley placed fourth in tennis, fourth in the 200-meter dash and fourth in running long jump.”
Officials said Kobe Miller placed second in the 200-meter dash, third in the 100-meter dash, third in physical fitness and fourth in the 400-meter dash. According to the release, Jathan Buczek placed first in the running long jump, second in discus throw, second in spelling and sixth in table tennis.
