SALISBURY, N.C. — Food Lion stores at 1592 S. Main St. in Farmville and 38 S. Constitution Dr. in Dillwyn are two of 71 stores that are set to be remodeled in the greater Richmond area this year.
According to a Food Lion press release, the company is making a $110 million investment in an effort to make shopping easier and more affordable for its customers.
“This includes remodeling the stores, additional price investments throughout the year and investments in associates and the community through Food Lion Feeds, the grocer’s hunger relief initiative,” Food Lion officials said in the press release.
According to the release, when the remodels are finished, customers will see fresh, new stores designed to be easier to navigate and shop.
Officials said in the release there will be an expanded variety and assortment of stock that is relevant to customers in each store, including natural and organic selections.
