Guthrie Memorial Chapel is extending its Christian evangelistic efforts into Burundi and Malawi, Africa. According to a press release, Pastor Mutebi Dickson, of Uganda, directs the church’s Christian outreach in Africa and serves as assistant to the president. “Responding to the command of Jesus to ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel,’ through the guidance and blessings of the Holy Spirit, the church first establishes small home-based congregations. As these grow, they then strive to provide schools and clinics for their communities,” church leaders said in a press release. “For example, the Mukano Church in Uganda operates a school and clinic near Kampala, Uganda.
