Beulah ‘Mae’ Duker

Beulah “Mae” Duker, 69 of Farmville, passed away on March 4, 2017.

We can just see her now rocking her sweet baby boy David that Jesus called home so many years ago, talking with her mother, Sarah and sister Sally, laughing and telling stories of their days here on earth. She is talking to her brother in-law, Don about changing the furniture around in the mansion, while he is planning to take the wall down to make the room bigger.

Mae was born on August 7, 1947 to the late Ernest and Sarah Allnutt.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, William M. “Bill” Duker Sr.; sons William “Mike” Jr., Kenny, Allen, and Paul, and the late David; daughters, Sarah Davis and Rebecca “Becky” Reames; 7 grandchildren, Ashlin, Amber, Percy, Erika Davis, Justin, Jessica and Melissa Duker.

She is survived by her sisters, Fran Esworthy, Mary Hallford, Donna Anderson, Elise Carter; and brother, Ernie Allnutt, and the late Sally Downs.

For Mae there was no job to big or small for her at New Life Assembly of God. If she was not helping with a children’s class then she was cleaning up behind them. She volunteered her time as a teacher’s aide at New Life Christian Academy for so many years, where Mrs. Duker will be forever loved.

She was so many things, to so many people. Mae was a wife, mother, daughter, sister, and grandma.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 11, at the family cemetery, located off High Hill Road on Stonewall Drive. All friends and family welcome.

The Cremation Society of Virginia served the family.
