Crewe Astronomy Club members will present their popular spring astronomy program Saturday from 7-9 p.m. at Bear Creek Lake State Park in Cumberland.
“They will have an indoor presentation on how to get started in astronomy and to answer any questions about the sky and telescopes,” according to a press release. “Outside the hall, participants will have a chance to observe the planet Jupiter and its moons — the center of the Milky Way, the Great Double Cluster in the constellation Perseus and the Orion Nebula under Orion’s belt. Also, observable will be many other deep sky objects outside our solar system. …”
This is a free program. Daily parking rates apply.
