Ridgeway named executive vice president

BCC Bankshares Inc. and its subsidiary, The Bank of Charlotte County, have announced the promotion of Jennifer L. Ridgeway to executive vice president.
“Ridgeway joined the company in 1973 and has over 43 years of banking experience,” bank officials said in the release. “Throughout her tenure with the bank, she has held numerous leadership positions related to business development, credit, operations and compliance.”
“In addition to her duties with the bank, Ridgeway currently serves on the compliance committee of the Virginia Bankers Association and on the advisory board of the Longwood Small Business Development Center.”
“Jenny’s extensive experience, banking knowledge, positive attitude and high-energy approach make her a true asset to our company and management team. I am extremely excited to see Jenny receive this well-deserved promotion and I look forward to continuing to work with her in the years ahead,” said Dexter Gilliam, president and CEO of the bank.
A Charlotte County native, Ridgeway is a graduate of the Virginia Bankers Association School of Bank Management. She resides in Randolph, with her husband, Robert and has two children, Bethanne Metts and Rob Ridgeway.
