The Genealogy Committee of Historic Buckingham Inc. is compiling a book titled “Confederate Soldiers of Buckingham Co. VA.” Lynne Henshaw, chair of the genealogy committee, will be composing the book and Farmville Printing will be publishing it. This book will be a great reference for family history research. Several citizens of Buckingham County have contacted Lynne with names of their ancestors who were Confederate soldiers.
