There’s no doubt that when people come together for a common goal or purpose, a great deal can be accomplished and many can be impacted in a positive manner. Case in point: the Prospect Volunteer Fire Department and its auxiliary group. Through their dedication, loyalty and work ethic, both volunteer firemen and auxiliary members alike see to it their neighbors, friends and family are cared for. The recent pancake supper is evidence of this as many auxiliary members transported plates of food to the sick and shut in. There’s no doubt the Prospect Volunteer Fire Department is an invaluable asset to Prince Edward County and a unifier of people.
