Shelby F. Wise of Buckingham earned a 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale) grade point average from the University of Virginia-Charlottesville for the fall semester.

She graduated from Buckingham County High School in May 2016 with an Associate of Science degree from Southside Virginia Community College. Wise is planning to pursue a pre-law track at the University of Virginia.

She is the daughter of David and Sherri Wise of Dillwyn.
