Jericho Baptist remembers King’s service

- “This is a great day. It’s our responsibility to go out and work in the community,” said guest speaker and minister the Rev. Dr. Wendy Lyle-Jones during her comments at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service at Jericho Baptist Church in Farmville.
Jericho Baptist Church invited the community to remember Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. during a service last week. The Jan. 16 program was organized by the church’s youth and the Kappa Rho Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. Minister Dr. Wendy Lyle-Jones, of Apostolic Church of All Nations and vice president of NAACP, was the keynote speaker for the event.
