Former CHS star Ebony Jones leads King at Wake Forest Invitational

The King University women’s track and field team competed at the Wake Forest Invitational on Saturday and were led by former Cumberland High School standout Ebony Jones.
She had the highest finish for the Tornado at the Winston-Salem, N.C. event, placing 13th in the long jump by recording a distance of 5.03 meters.
In high school, Jones was a highly decorated member of Cumberland’s program, winning championships in Conference 42, the James River District and Region 1A East.
King will return to action Feb. 3-4 at the Buccaneer Invitational in Johnson City, Tenn.
