More than 50 children enjoyed the annual Polar Express program in Dillwyn on Saturday hosted by the Buckingham County Public Library and Buckingham Branch Railroad. While riding the train, kids listened to WFLO’s John Staton read The Polar Express. After the story, everybody crossed the street to the library, decorated cookies, drank hot chocolate and got a bell from Santa. Special thanks were sent out to the Buckingham County Sheriff’s Office for ensuring a safe crossing from the train to the library.
