The Virginia School Boards Association (VSBA) presented a Silver Certified Green School Division Certificate to Prince Edward County Public Schools at the VSBA’s annual conference in Williamsburg on Nov. 16. The school division implemented new actions and adopted new policies to earn 129 points in the VSBA Green Schools Challenge. Prince Edward Division Superintendent Dr. Barbara A. Johnson showed off the award during December’s Prince Edward School Board meeting.
