The Farmville Recreation Department (FRD) hosts an opportunity to play pickleball Mondays and Wednesdays 6-8 p.m. at the Firemen’s Sports Arena, 1328 Zion Hill Road.

Pickleball is a sport for all ages that combines ping pong, tennis and badminton. The game is played with two or four people on a badminton-sized court using paddles and a Wiffle ball.

To participate, the cost is $2 per player. Equipment is provided, and no experience is necessary.
