The college application process can be daunting for many students and their families. Buckingham County High School recently made it a bit easier by holding its third annual College Application Week Nov. 14-18. Designed by the school counseling staff and structured and choreographed by Virginia College Advisor Corps Kiana Williams, Buckingham seniors were able to work on their postsecondary plans throughout the week with 205 individual meetings taking place towards the college application process. In addition, 21 students found out about acceptances to Radford University that week; five students were also accepted by the University of Mary Washington. BCHS also hosted, in October, a FAFSA Night, which allowed more than 40 seniors to complete their Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
