In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, students and staff members of Cumberland County Public Schools staged a “Pink Out” Day. Pink Out for the Cure is an event that helps educate students, staff members and parents about the importance of breast cancer health. It also provides an opportunity to honor and remember those whose lives were lost to breast cancer. The school participation in “Pink Out” Day was described by one student as “phenomenal.”
