The Prince Edward County High School Scholastic Bowl team has gotten off to a dominating start by winning its first eight consecutive matches of the season. The team has scored more than 200 points in all but three of its matches for decisive victories and has demonstrated a great group dynamic where the team members’ skills complement each other. Coach Gary Lutz said he is really impressed with the team’s depth. The team includes from left, front, Tiba Hamza (freshman), Rachel Kinzer (sophomore), Michaela Deppen (senior); back, Kait Hosmer (junior), Tiffany Smith (freshman) and co-captains Laura Bisaillon (junior) and Henry Lutz (senior). The team’s next matches will be Monday against Nottaway and Amelia. Good luck, Eagles! (Send “Way to Go” photos with names and a description to waytogo@farmvilleherald.com.)
