The Longwood University women’s golf team competed in four different events this fall. Its highest finish came in the two-round Tignanelli Towson Invitational at the par-72 Eagles Nest Country Club in Phoenix, Md. Sept. 18-19 when the Lancers placed fifth out of 13 teams, scoring 315-303—618 (+42). Longwood’s fall season concluded Oct. 16-18 at the Bill Berg Invitational in Hayesville, N.C., but the Lancers will return to action in the spring, starting Feb. 26-28 with the Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Classic in Kiawah Island, S.C.
