One person received minor injuries in a shooting incident at AtWork Personnel Services at 1102 S. Main St. in Farmville Sunday afternoon.
According to Farmville Police Chief A.Q. “Andy” Ellington, the shooting, which stemmed from a domestic incident involving a group of women, was reported at about 4:15 p.m.
He said the victim’s injuries appeared to have come from shattered glass — a resulting of the shooting incident.
Ellington said a suspect has been identified in connection with the incident, and that it appears to be isolated in nature.
Ellington didn’t know the exact number of shots fired.
