Buckingham native volunteers at debate

A Longwood University alumna is rekindling her ties to her alma mater as she volunteers for the sole U.S. Vice Presidential Debate at Longwood.
On Sunday, Buckingham native Jacqueline Gooden Seay, whose family owns a cattle farm in Buckingham, was in the credentialing center.
Seay is the farm’s manager.
While inside the credentialing center, she excitedly described her role in volunteering. Seay
Seay now lives in Chesterfield. She is a sister of the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority.
She’s among hundreds of volunteers, both students and alumni, who are helping out at the debate.
