New Life Church took the opportunity Sunday to put a spotlight on first responders who protect and serve communities and the country, including police, firefighters, EMS personnel and members of the military. These groups were well-represented at the church’s service and the reception that followed. The service included a resolution from Mayor David Whitus, a message from retired Lieutenant General William G. “Jerry” Boykin and a prayer over all the first responders by New Life Lead Pastor Bill McIntosh.
