The rain isn’t putting a damper on national and regional media’s preparation for the nation’s only U.S. Vice Presidential Debate at Longwood University

CNN, Fox News and other major media outlets were installing their standup broadcast locations across the campus Friday.

NBC 29, of Charlottesville, was also on campus, a full four days in advance of Tuesday night’s nationally televised debate.

The campus was busy with activity Friday, including school-aged children touring the campus and debate-related facilities with Longwood staff.
