Fuqua welcomes new teachers

Fuqua School recently welcomed five new faculty/staff members for the 2016-2017 academic year. They include 4/5 teacher Krystal Tucker; Upper School Math teacher Lynette Gee; Jaime Estes, guidance counselor for pre-K through 12th grade; Upper School Debate and Communications teacher Bob Frank; and Upper School Math teacher Susie Hemler. Estes is providing a special class in guidance for grades Pre-K through 3 weekly and for 4/5 every other week. Frank will continue to serve as debate and Battle of the Brains coach. Gee previously taught in Prince Edward County Public Schools, at Southside Virginia Community College, Cuyahoga Community College and Ohio University. Hemler previously taught at Appomattox County Middle School and worked at Hampden-Sydney College. Tucker also taught in Appomattox County Public Schools and as an adjunct professor at Longwood University. Congratulations to these new teachers at Fuqua School.
