Edna ‘Beulah’ Neas Burks

Edna ‘Beulah’ Neas Burks, of Farmville, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother passed away on September 5, 2016.

She leaves behind six children, Eleanor Burks Rightnour, Lewis Burks, John Burks, Alvin Burks and Nancy, Roy Burks, and Nancy Burks Lower and Gary; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She loved her family, her friends and her little dogs and was known for her big hugs.  She loved to sew and fishing was a favorite! 

The family will take visitors on Friday, September 9 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Shorter Funeral Home.
