Cumberland graduate Michael Turner recently received the David C. Goodman Memorial Scholarship for $1,000.

Turner is currently enrolled at Longwood University with a major in graphic design and animation.

The degree will allow him to continue his love for cars as he makes designs to ensure environmentally friendly and aesthetically attractive new and refurbished automobiles.

Turner refurbished an old Ford Taurus as his senior project.
