The Farmville Area Junior Golf Program (FAJGP) was well-represented at the recent Piedmont Virginia State Golf Association Junior Golf Championships in Lunenburg County with nine golfers, including one who won her age division — Emily Erickson. The home course for all golfers in the program is Farmville Municipal Golf Course. FAJGP golfers competing at the championships included, from left, Alexandra Turney, Emily Erickson, Timothy Eppes, Brennan Stone, Mark Stanley and Harrison Turney. Not pictured are the three younger FAJGP golfers who participated earlier in the day at the championships: Kayden Ford, Jayla Ford and Thomas Hamilton.
