A 41-year-old Pamplin man will spend four years in prison after pleading guilty to distribution of cocaine.

Last week, a Prince Edward Circuit Court judge sentenced Chad Andrea Fulcher on two charges of distribution of a scheduled I/II controlled substance.

“He was sentenced to 20 years incarceration on each charge, for a total of 40 years,” said Commonwealth’s Attorney Megan Clark. “Thirty-six of those years were suspended — leaving a balance of four years to serve.”

According to online court records, a grand jury indicted Fulcher on the charges in June 2015.

“Once released from incarceration, the defendant has to be of good behavior for 10 years, be on supervised probation for two years, pay restitution for the money used in the controlled buys and pay costs of court.”
