History programs set at library

Central Virginia Regional Library and Ranger Bob Flippen of High Bridge Trail State Park are partnering to bring the community a series of presentations on local history topics in the comfort and cool of the meeting room at the Farmville-Prince Edward Community Library on Third Street. Taking place on the first four Mondays in August at 7 p.m. are presentations on the Appomattox River, the Farmville-Powhatan Railroad, “Lee’s Lost Gamble” and Willis Vail.
