Bernie is the Southside SPCA’s Dog of the Month.

Bernie the beagle has lots to celebrate. He was rescued from a hoarder’s home where he suffered years of neglect. Luckily, he’s a good-natured fella and they didn’t break his spirit. He loves everyone he meets and is lots of fun to be around. At 22 pounds and 3-4 years old, he’s the perfect portable size and age. Bernie has lots of love to give and will shower you with affection.
