Voters are tired of party leaders

For anyone who still has trouble figuring out what is going on in the electorate, here is a thought: Folks are simply tired of party leaders — Reince Priebus and Debbie Schultz among them — telling everyone else in the country that they are too uninformed, or just plain too stupid, to select their own representative government.
If Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders have done anything valuable in this campaign at all, it is to unseat those party leaders who feel it is their right to rule over everyone else.
For far too long now and for far too many elections, the people in the United States have been ignored, belittled, passed over and insulted by having leadership in the large political party “cartels” dictate who will be “chosen” for key positions in our representative government.
For far too long now, those selected few who feel their job is to rule over the rest of us have ignored the fact that the government is the people and not just the few who sit in D.C. or other capital cities.
Angry voters have spoken, and chief among their boisterous complaints is the key one — that they are sick and tired of politicians who just don’t feel the need to listen to them.
The one hope is that finally there is an undoing of the stronghold that both the Democratic National Committee and the Republican National Committee have had over the citizens of our gifted and great country, and just maybe, in this election, the voters and legitimate citizens of the U.S. will have their say.
