Sinclair Brooks, 89, of Cumberland, departed this life on Monday in Farmville.

He is survived by two daughters, Drucilla Mosby and Ruth Walker (Gilbert); two sons, Thomas and Michael Brooks; 19 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two great–great-children; two sisters-in-law; a brother-in-law along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

His remains rest at Marian Gray Thomas Funeral Home of Cumberland where public viewing will be held Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday at noon at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Cumberland, with interment in the Davenport Family Cemetery with Rev. Alvin Witcher Jr., pastor, officiating.
