EDINBURG — Shentel has been named to Forbes’ 2016 list of 100 Most Trustworthy Companies in America.
The firm, which provides internet and television services in Farmville, was also named to this list in 2013 and 2014, according to a press release.
“The honor recognizes companies that consistently demonstrate trustworthy accounting and governance practices over the previous year,” the release stated.
“We are proud to be recognized in Forbes’ list of Most Trustworthy Companies for the third time,” said Shentel president Chris French.
According to the release, to make up this list, MSCI ESG Research took a comprehensive measure of accounting and governance practices of over 2,500 publicly traded, non-financial American companies with market caps of $250 million or more.
