Robert John Rossi, of Amelia, holds a drawing of Beaver Pond Creek Mill.

The Crewe Public Library is exhibiting the pen and ink drawings of Robert John Rossi this month.

In fine art terms, “pen and ink” denotes using a technique involving the use of black and other colored inks applied to paper.

“Because of a lifelong interest in history, most of my artistic energy has focused on those objects that were and are valuable for future generations to observe,” Rossi said.

Historic buildings and a variety of other subjects are captured in beautifully detailed drawings by this award-winning artist. Stop by the Crewe Library at 400 Tyler St., Crewe, and view this exhibit. Call (434) 645-8688 for library hours.
