Volunteers from the Farmville and Prospect volunteer fire departments responded to a stove fire on Monday at 1153 Tuggle Road. Initial reports indicated that flames were visible from the stove, according to Farmville Fire Chief Andrew Goss. The fire was reported at about 11:16 a.m. The home was ventilated and the house saw minor damage from the fire, he said.
