Bill Caldwell, of Farmville, recently went with friends Robert Shutt and Lloyd Seely on an eventful fishing trip from Farmville to North Carolina and Wrightsville Beach offshore live bait fishing. Above, at left in left photo, Seely holds a 44-pound amberjack, while Caldwell stands next to him with a 40-pound amberjack. Above, in right photo, Shutt holds the biggest fish caught on the trip — a 48-pound cobia, which he battled for 45 minutes. Below, Seely battles his amberjack.
